This weekend takes place at the Haven, a beautiful oceanside resort and includes 4 Breath Sessions, an ecstatic dance and personal time spent in nature solo or with community.
For the first time ever, 17 facilitators are coming together to offer you a powerful and nourishing experience of coming home to yourself and tuning into your inner wisdom to direct your life.
This is a unique workshop on Vancouver Island, aimed at beginners and those who have wanted the opportunity to experience this instrument in person. In this session, you will have the chance to listen to and try different Handpan scales, learn about its history and origin, the differences between the materials used in its construction, and we will also analyze the instrument and each of its parts so that you can recognize a good one from a bad one. We will also practice some exercises and I will close with a demonstration.
The Handpan is a different instrument from conventional ones. It invites reflection through exploration and self-discovery. It can even become a healing tool when it falls into the right hands, and the most wonderful part is that there are no rules or patterns to follow, anyone can play the Handpan.
Parking is available on the street, only water is allowed inside the dome, and I recommend everyone bring a yoga mat or cushion to sit on and stay comfortable.
There are only 12 spots available due to the capacity of the dome. If you’re interested in participating, the cost is $40, with reservation via e-transfer to the following email:francocapone.c@gmail.com
